Natural slate stone is a sedimentary (layered) stone. Its actual beauty comes to light only when we engrave it, as you are able to see all the different layers of the stone. Each stone has a unique color and texture.
These stands are made with new waterproof wood, and then slate stone is added on the front side. The reason we are using 2 different materials here is so that we can reduce the weight of the product drastically, it is easier to transport and also for cost effective shipping.
